Creative Director
We are
Phillips Plastics Corporation, a privately held custom injection
molder of plastic and metal that has the distinct honor of serving some
of the most respected original equipment manufacturers in the world. We
figured out twenty-some years ago that by establishing an in-house advertising
agency, we were able to devote our resources to creating integrated communication
campaigns in record time for our business. Over the years we have strived
to use traditional as well as the latest and greatest marketing channels
to promote the company within virtually every industry from medical and
consumer to automotive, appliance and recreational, and in doing so have
helped Phillips Plastics become known as a world-class manufacturer.
Dedicated to excellence in every area of our business, Phillips Plastics
is currently searching for a Creative Director that isn't afraid to push
the limits of conventional marketing wisdom - someone who can infuse consumer
design into business-to-business marketing strategy to continue to set
Phillips Plastics apart within the marketplace. A true innovator that
understands that the best design must also meet business objectives and
is driven by that challenge.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide overall creative direction for the Phillips Plastics brand
Manage the creative process from design through production of all external
and internal marketing communication vehicles to include but not limited
to:
- Web site
- Advertising
- Literature
- Direct Mail
- Trade Show Activities
- Custom Marketing Campaigns
- E-Marketing Campaigns
- Employee News Magazine
- Custom Employee Communiqués
- Translate marketing objectives into design solutions
- Work with market managers to develop and execute industry specific
communication campaigns
- Develop and manage graphic design staff, setting objectives and providing
continuous performance feedback to encourage professional growth
- Manage resources to ensure all deadlines are met
- Ensure consistency of the Phillips' brand both internally and externally
- Manage communication among internal staff, outside resources, and
Phillips Plastics' facility representatives to ensure the optimum creative
product
- Develop and maintain strong internal and external partnerships
- Participate in the development of department budgets
- Champion the design role by upholding, advocating and advancing the
goals and creative standards of the marketing group within and outside
the team
Minimum Requirements:
- BFA in Graphic Design
- 10 years experience within an advertising agency or in-house agency
- Strong presentation and project management skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability of design teams
o In-depth knowledge of graphic design process
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Strong understanding of brand management
- Proficient in Macintosh design programs such as InDesign CS3, Adobe
CS3 Design Suite, Adobe Photoshop CS3, Freehand, and Keynote
