Welcome
The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) is a global network that provides the content, the credibility and the community to help communication professionals succeed in their careers. IABC/Madison (Wisconsin USA) is one of 100 IABC chapters around the world. Our members include experts in all areas of communication and across all business, public and non-profit sectors. Most of us work in Madison, but some of us are located in Baraboo, LaCrosse, Beloit, Central Wisconsin and the Fox River Valley. The Madison chapter began in April 1969 as the Professional Communicators of Wisconsin. It became ProCom/IABC in January, 1981 and became IABC/Madison in April, 1994. Our monthly luncheon meetings are held at 11:30 a.m. on the last Wednesday of each month except in July and December. We typically have lunch at noon after networking, and have a 30- to 45-minute program after lunch. The cost is $17.00 for members, $23.00 for guests and $12.00 for students. To receive meeting notices, contact President Vicki Hearing. IABC/Madison, P.O. Box 5101, Madison, WI 53705 Contact us. |
When we receive new job listings, we post them (usually) that day on our employment page. Brief recaps of our monthly meetings cheerfully submitted by member Mary Maher (mmm). Click here. About Mary. Our April 25 speaker, Lori Silverman, has written a couple of very interesting books. Learn about them here. Talk to us What would you like to see on this web site?
