IABC/Madison members are DIVERSE from all disciplines of communications including public relations, corporate communications, advertising, marketing, visual communications, public affairs, human resources and more. There's always someone new to meet and new information to share through the many NETWORKING opportunities.
Member Spotlight: Jim Hasse
During the 1970s and 80s, IABC/Madison provided me with an opportunity to stretch my volunteer wings as newsletter editor, board secretary and program chairperson and to grow into the relatively new field of business communications.

That puts a premium on communicators who can help senior management quickly and effectively gain buy-in into a corporate vision, a group mission, a value statement and an operating mode among a variety of stakeholders. Such groups are often in a constant state of flux and, at times, may be outside of management’s direct control.
It’s a challenging but rewarding time to be a business communicator -- one in which I can’t imagine how I would cope without the learning environment and community wisdom provided by IABC/Madison.
